Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, you may dispute a debt if you believe it is invalid.
How do I submit a dispute?

Fill out the form, including any attachments, to dispute

You can also notify us of a dispute in writing by sending an email to contact@january.com or sending a letter to the address listed below. Please include your full name, date of birth, and the account number you’re disputing.

What documents do I need to dispute a debt?
You do not need any documents to dispute a debt. However, if you choose to submit any documents with your dispute it may help us work with you to resolve your concern quickly and easily. The more information you provide us, the better we're able to help! Here are some common scenarios and the associated documentation that should be attached to your request:
Theft/Fraud:

Police report or fraud affidavit
Previously Paid:

Proof of the past payment or evidence that the account was previously resolved
How long will the dispute take to process?
The process can vary depending on a number of factors, but generally takes between 1-4 weeks.
